Seals & Rings
For industrial machinery, Partscor provides a large assortment of seals and fluid sealing rings. In machine applications, a seal is most frequently used to hold pressure and stop leaks. Additionally, seals keep nearby machine parts from becoming contaminated. More than 200,000 different seals are available in Partscor's inventory, categorized by brand, product type, lip material, diameter, and other factors. In order to stop lubricant leaks and keep impurities like dirt and moisture out, oil seals, also called rotary shaft seals, are essential mechanical devices made to close the space between fixed and moving parts (often rotating shafts). Our stock of oil and grease seals are stocked in single-lip, double-lip, triple-lip, and wiper-lip styles in nitrile, Viton (FKM), silicon, and other materials required for every fluid, dust, and grease sealing application. Partscor is an approved distributor of SKF (formerly Chicago Rawhide), Dichtomatik (TCM) and Freudenberg NOK.
Sealing rings, often known as gaskets or O-rings, are mechanical parts that form a barrier that keeps fluids or gases from escaping and blocks impurities between two surfaces. O-rings are donut-shaped, round gaskets that are positioned between items in precisely designed grooves or channels to create a tight seal that stops gases or liquids from escaping. These can be anything from straightforward static O-rings to intricate dynamic rotary shaft seals made for high-pressure settings, depending on your application. The DASH system, which uses a three-digit number to represent the inside diameter, cross-section diameter, and tolerance level of O-ring seals, is frequently used to size them.
O-Ring Design Types:
